Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF)

ALL,
Please be aware of this organization, it is a scam. Last year they collected 55 million dollars and have not given one penny to the VETS. Some months ago I posted about some uniformed folks along the roadway collecting money as it turns out, for this organization. I have seen this in North Palm Beach and in Port Saint Lucie for about 1 year. I brought this up to various political representatives in the last 6 months. If it doesn't seem right you should ask a few questions. There are so many Veterans groups on line that seem so very doubtful when you try to chase them down using ASK.com. Double check all agencies before you give. It truly it is unfortinate that ALL Veterans have to be aware.

Re: Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF)

Ed,
I have given to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and belong to the American Legion my self, but it is very difficult to determine who is real and who is not. It takes hours of research just to decide. With more and more Veterans coming home in the next few years there will be even more exploition, so do your research.

To get an idea for good vet charities check the link to military money matters. It changed the way I have donated
