Shipmates, I would like to take a moments and repeat what probably has been expressed hundreds of times before now (I never was the sharpest nail in the box) how useful/ how helpful/ and how necessary uplifting this message board is. Speaking for myself it reconnects me with times although short (five years) that I have recognized to have been some of the very best of times, many moments’ frozen with a smile like viewing a sun rise for the first time. I was able to learn from some of the brightest intellects and experienced leaders who drew on vast stores of trials and tribulations to direct us down the past of being useful sailor and then citizens. So to the developers and maintainer of this site Thank You for all you do.
