IUSSCAA “Cable” Newsletter/Directory - Nov 2013 is published

The November 2013 issues of the IUSS/CAESAR Alumni Association Newsletter, THE CABLE, and Member Directory have been published and distributed. The CABLE is currently being distributed to 662 active members of the IUSSCAA. You should have received an email in the past 24 hours if you are an active member.

Hey Jim.....just finished the 2013 newsletter.

Great to see the article from Captain Benter....our Kef CO in '77.

Immensely enjoyed the entire production.

Regarding your post on the Nov 2013 Cable Newsletter, and reading it "cover-to-cover", I echo Nick's comments: BZ to you, the entire staff and all those who contributed. Not only were all the articles well done, but it may help me connect to a former shipmate from long ago during my first tour in Bermuda (1966-1969)- Dan Blaney who was referenced in the article by Dan Murphy about the NavFac Nantucket reunion.

Blaney, myself and others were great fishing buddies. As I recall, he was transferred to Nantucket while I was still in BDA. I plan to contact Dan (Murf) Murphy to see if he has contact information for Blaney.

Once again, my "hat's off" to all who made this possible.
