WALTER DAVID HOGGE - CPO (Retired) - UNITED STATES NAVY

My Dear Family, Friends, and Shipmates. Here is the Tuell-Mckee Bremerton LINK to Walt's Obituary. Had to have it perfect before I shared this with you. The original was posted to meet a deadline, for this weekend, but I caught three little errors that were really important to add to the final & revised copy. NOTE: If you call up Tuell-Mckee in Tacoma, WA "HOME-PAGE" website, you will not find Walt's Full Obituary that I wrote to honor him. You must call up the Tuell-McKee Mortuary BREMERTON LINK to be able to read it. [ tuellmckeebremerton.com ] "Thank You" once again, & those two little words seem so inadequate to thank you all, for your love, your thoughts, your sharing & caring & for your ongoing prayers...on our behalf...as we went forward along Walt's journey. And there was never an opportunity to turn back & away from what we knew was coming. We just thought that we could slow-down that progressive process somehow. My Family & I are so grateful for your encompassing love, good thoughts, sharing & caring of us & also for the ongoing prayers that gave us hope & strength to carry every day. HUGE HUGS!!! LUV Y'ALL!!!

Re: WALTER DAVID HOGGE - CPO (Retired) - UNITED STATES NAVY

Patricia,

I never knew or served with your husband, Walt, during my career in the SOSUS/IUSS Systems (1959-1981), but wanted you to know that our prayers are with you and your family during this time and in the days ahead as you continue your ownn journey - which will one day reunite you and all of your family members with Walter.

I think it speaks volumes about your dedication to your husband, in that you took the time to get everything \\\"just right\\\" in preparing Walt\\\'s obituary. I think Walt would probably expect nothing less from a wife so obviously as caring as yourself.

It is always sad to hear of the passing of our Navy peers - but we can take heart in knowing that they have made lasting contributions to our nation, the Navy and the families and friends that supported them throughout the years.

Bravo Zulu to you and your family. With heartfelt sympathy, we wish you and your family peace and comfort.

Irving and Linda DeMatties

Re: WALTER DAVID HOGGE - CPO (Retired) - UNITED STATES NAVY

I am quite sure that both of you were in my "A" school class in 75-76 with Phil Blauvelt our instructor. I hope that God be with you in your loss. I didn't work with Walter but I'm sure he was a friend to many and will be missed. I'm so sorry!!
Respectfully

Re: WALTER DAVID HOGGE - CPO (Retired) - UNITED STATES NAVY

Pat, your tribute to Walt was beautiful and all of us extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I'll never understand why good people are often taken so early in life but I guess it's not for us to know. Please go forward with the knowledge that you aren't alone in your sorrow.
