Absolutely fascinating.........the use of simple plotting techniques to assist in determining/confirming classification. I wish there was a time machine that could take us on a ride back to the 1960's and 70's. And Bruce, I would love to have shared the MID watch with you.

It would, indeed, have been fun to have shared a mid or any other watch with you, especially at Kef when the ambient was low.

When you think about what astronomers are doing to correlate millisecond-duration electro-magnetic pulses from across the entire sky - not to mention gravity waves, correlating acoustic transients from multiple sensors would seems a very useful and comparatively simple application of computer technology.

Let's hope someone is paying attention to what is - in all probability - an unexploited vulnerability. "Traditionalists" need not apply.
