I saw on Fox News this morning, a Navy veteran wearing an Ocean Systems Technician's baseball cap with the OT insignia on it. Just wondering if and where it might be available. I had one back in the early 70's, but long since gone.
I'm sure there are other places similar to the joint I ran across in Branson, MO. At a novelty shop in Branson, all that was required was a picture and they could make a replica of practically anything, especially caps and insignia
Thanks for the reply John, I'll give it a look. The baseball cap I had many years ago with 3rd class OT insignia, came from our small ship's store at Coos Head. As I can remember, that was the only article of uniform I had purchased other than what was issued in boot camp. Good stuff... lasted four years.
This hat is probably not the same one you are looking for but I found an OT hat at this site that I bought last year.

I had mine embroidered with Kef and Adak on the sides.
With your advice, a fellow shipmate OT (B. Ganoe) from Guam and Coos Head, ordered OT baseball caps from the site that you suggested and they look great. Now will try to find second class crow pins to add to them and we'll be all set. thanks for your help.
