Pat and I wish all our friends a fellow veterans a Happy and Safe 4th of July.
There are a number of events in our area as I sure there are in yours. After listening
to the evening news for the past year, its gratifying to see and hear people celebrating
in a wholesome and non partisan fashion.
Here,s hoping the spirit of today will morph into a similar spirit throughout the next year.
I worked my part-time job at Lowe's today and it was gratifying to see so many people, including children, dressed in patriotic garb. Many extended a Happy 4th greeting and remarked on the small flags we posted at our work area. Regardless of what you see and read in the news, this country is blessed with strong, proud and unyielding patriots.
