Re: Passing of a shipmate

Very sad news to hear of Frank's passing. I too served with Frank in Bermuda. He was a great professional who possessed great leadership abilities. Although he was a bit of a rebel (as many of us were in some ways) he never crossed the line. His sense of humor and personality found him well liked by all who knew him except "Chief Cable". Frank knew exactly what to do to rile chief Cable and made it a continuous endeavor. There will always be a light shining in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. My thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP shipmate.

Re: Passing of a shipmate

I was stationed with Frank at CFIC Halifax until I retired in '96. Everything said above describes Frank to a "T". We was "professional" in the true sense of the word but never took himself to seriously (or anyone else for that matter). I still have a set of 3 hand carved whales that he made for me at my retirement hanging on my wall next to my computer desk. RIP shipmate.

The link is to Frank's obituary. It has a great picture of him.
