Some of you may have known a former OTA1 in Brawdy, Centerville, Keflavik I believe and finally NAVFAC Guam. At our best and sometimes our worst, the ability to love, forgive and mourn makes us human. It is with sadness I share the notice of the passing of former OTA1 Terry Stingley. His wife informed me of this via text early this evening. He was in great pain and suffering she shared and now he feels pain no more. God Rest His Soul. Before his passing, he wrote a few short stories, was a known wine connoisseur in southwest Michigan (this is where I reconnected with him. Known as the wine guru.) Fair Winds and following seas my friend and shipmate.
