Might As Well Call the "New" Belgorod Russian Nuc an OSCAR III

The linked site states the new Russian nuclear submarine, the 604-foot long Belgorod is an OSCAR II SSGN cut in half to
accommodate special missions including as a "mother ship" for the 20,000-foot capable Losharik.

Expect the OSCAR II power train (turbines and gears), seven-bladed, skewed propellers and a TPK of about 8.3 for
mid-range speeds without the Losharik attached, and about 10.5 with it attached when max seed should be limited to
about 10 knots.

Not much new under the sun.
