Re: Spouse Renewal of ID card,

Chuck,
You may want to do some checking. The last time we renewed Deb's ID they issued her an Indefinite one.Saves all the hassle. Hope all is well with you and Linda. Just living the good life of the rusty years.

Re: Spouse Renewal of ID card,

Once over 75 or 74 a spouse can get an indefinite card.

Re: Spouse Renewal of ID card,

For anyone in the Tidewater area, I recommend using the Fort Story PSD (not sure if that's what the Army calls it). We renewed my wife's card last year. It was a painless, walk in, no appointment, and not much of a wait.

Re: Spouse Renewal of ID card,

We use the National Guard base in St Augustine, FL. Most national guard bases are easier to get appointments for ID renewal.

Re: Spouse Renewal of ID card,

I have used Coast Guard Base Portsmouth VA which requires an appointment and was really painless and quick. I have also used Naval Hospital Portsmouth VA. When I used the Hospital you could get an appointment but they did not require them when I used them. Neither were vary busy.
