Got our interviews this afternoon. They took our pics, then our finger prints using an optical scanner, then they sent them to the FBI to see if either of us had ever been arrested.
In a matter of minutes we qualified to always get TSA PreCheck. ID cards should be here in a few weeks.
I guess the technology has finally caught up with the TV shows.
We just had the precheck this past week on flights to Minneapolis. Getting this precheck is well worth the effort as it really minimized the frustration of going through the usual security vetting.
We always use pre-check and, as Scott stated, its a great time saver. I wasn't aware of the Trusted Traveler program, will definitely look into that. Our 3 kids and their spouses just provided us a 10 day, all expense paid trip to Ireland for June! :)
