Very sad news to hear of the loss of another shipmate. Larry was a great man and friend. I too have many fond memories of TAD trips with him. One time we went to Centerville and were in the club having a few drinks. Jim Tribble was sitting at the bar and Larry approached him and said "how are you Chief", Tribble ignored him so Larry repeated himself and Tribble replied "I'm fine Ensign", of course Larry responded with "excuse me chief I'm a LT and Tribble responded with....and I'm a Master Chief" Larry was humbled and put in his place. He will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers and thoughts to his family.
