Re: Ever Wonder How Long Human Remains Last in Ship Wrecks? (Reply to JD)

Jim Donovan:

You may not be interested; however, such knowledge
is of concern to those considering the recovery of
lost submarines, and I have addressed it obliquely
in my final SAN JUAN posting.

FYI, I note that my assessment of why the K-129 was
lost has had almost 4700 "views." Most. I assume
from Russia.

Got any idea who will analyze acoustic detections of
the next submarine collapse event? You can be sure
it is not a question of if such will occur but only when
and to whom it will belong.

Don't be parochial, like the CTBTO which badly bungled
the SAN JUAN analysis; go where the knowledge is, and
don't demean those who do.
