CAPT Joseph P. Kelly Award Recipient.

I am very pleased to announce that CUS has selected Jeffrey D. Cleary to receive the CAPT Joseph P. Kelly Award (8 Apr 21).

Jeff was nominated in September 2020. However, due to COVID, CUS action was temporarily delayed.

When Jeff decided to retire he elected to delay the CAPT Kelly Award presentation until his retirement day celebration – which is tomorrow.

Well Jack taking nothing away from previous recipients maybe some you earlier founding group for the IUSS ALUMNI WILL GET SOME recognition. The organization is 28 years young and in opinion it is the only vehicle keeping active duty personnel, retired military and civilians the ability to connect with each other. We have had members win the award but not for any connection or contribution and the Alumni Association. Maybe some day?
