My most memorable July 4th in the Navy was 52 years ago. It was my first full day of boot camp. Haircuts, eggs floating on a metal tray at breakfast, people screaming at you from all directions...I really wondered what I got myself into! :) Christine and I will be spending this Independence Day here in the Badlands of South Dakota, as we travel this beautiful country in our RV. America is vast, diverse in landscape and full of wonderful people. God Bless her and those that swore to defend her. Happy Independence Day!!!
