Our dear friend Bonnie Williams passed away on 8-16-24 after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. She was the wife of OTCM Dave Williams. Elaine and I have been close friends and neighbors with them for many years. She was born in St. Johns Newfoundland, and like many of us who were stationed there, met and married an OT. Elaine and I will miss her dearly.
Sad news indeed. Hope Dave and family are dealing with their loss with strength. We all will make this journey as time goes on.
Dave, when you meet Bonnie again she will be the Bonnie you met all those years ago.
Take care of yourself, and remember all the good times you had together.
Sad and shocking news. I had not heard of and was totally unaware of Bonnie's health issues.
On my numerous ventures into and out of the Va Beach area, she became my favorite and go to Real Estate Agent. I found Bonnies to be intelligent and full of energy and really good at her job. She helped me a lot on our moves in and out of the area. Pat and I considered her a dear friend and will miss her.
Our most sincere condolences to my long time friend and Shipmate Dave, his sons and their extended families.
Dave and family, Chris and I are saddened to hear of Bonnie’s passing. We’re all getting to the ages that nothing is promised, except that you will meet your bride again someday. May God bless and sustain you during these challenging times.
Dave, so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. My thoughts and prayers to you and the family. May the good lord comfort you in this time of loss and sorrow. Hold onto the good times and memories.
Thank-you all, for your kind thoughts and condolences. Bonnie was indeed a remarkable woman and I feel blessed to have shared a life together with her for 56 years.
