By "short" Nick the (editor) means short. Two years ago in early Sept 2022 he asked me for a story about how I got into rowing and what it was like to row across the Atlantic ocean in a 23ft plywood boat. Although I had to deal with flooding and hurricane damage for two months, I struggled but came through for Nick by the end of November. I submitted my story to a resounding "NO!"..."I only wanted a couple of pages". Apparently, 30 pages was a bit too much. It would have to be a 15 part Cable article. I have since added another 500 words. So, I'm thinking "still no!" :/
So...."short" means short. LOL.
