- Friday social at hotel at 1800. Private, ticketed event. Tickets must be purchased online NLT 13 Sept. There will be no tickets available at the door.
- Attire: 70th T-shirts, favorite IUSS T-shirt; casual.
- Leather book available for comments and memories regarding OTCM Ed “Smokie”Smock. Book will be presented to Smokies family. Please make an entry.
- Saturday formal dinner.
- “Cocktail Attire”. Basically, cocktail dresses for women; suits for men.
- Cocktail hour 1800.
- Formal dinner 1900.
- Guest speakers, IUSS rollcall, other activities, tribute to OTCM Smock.
- Guest socializing until 2300.
- Remember to pick up name tag, mementoes, programs, etc. when checking in.
- Open seating. Use name card to reserve seat once doors are opened.
- Sunday open house at TUSC LANT (Dam Neck).
- Ticketed event, no cost. Picture ID required.
- Timeframe 1200 to 1400. Tours start at 15 minute increments from 1200 to approx 1330.
- REMINDER: NO CELL PHONES OR OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES (WATCHES/iPADS etc.) ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING. Lock up in vehicle.
- OPs permitting, limited viewing of watch floor is planned.
- Some refreshments may be provided.
Finally, no photography inside TUSC LANT. But the command will provide a photographer. Photos will be published after the event.
If anyone would like to volunteer to be a photographer at the social event on Friday and/or the formal dinner on Saturday, please contact me.
