Couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of guys 😂 The Russians used to put inflated sub lookalikes at piers to try disguising deployments. Saw some imagery one time of one partially deflated, can’t remember if it was a Y or D. Hilarious sight!

I remember seeing that same photo. Not sure how they thought they were fooling anyone because the inflatables didn't emit any IR signature so it was easy to recognize them for what they were.
