We are so very sorry to hear about his passing. We served together twice at CNFJ. Our deepest condolences to Yuki and members of his family.

Re: Passing of OTAC Jerry Juliana

I just saw this on Facebook.

Jerry - you stand relieved. Those of us that remain have the watch.

Re: Passing of OTAC Jerry Juliana

Sad news, indeed.

Re: Passing of OTAC Jerry Juliana

I don’t think I was ever stationed with Jerry but was certainly aware of his name and reputation. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and pray that he is now experiencing the promised reward of being in His presence.

Re: Passing of OTAC Jerry Juliana

Sad to hear that we lost another of our alumni. I never had the privilege of serving with Jerry, but I was familiar with his name around the system. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP shipmate, those of us remaining have the watch.

Re: Passing of OTAC Jerry Juliana

Man... this is really sad news. Jerry and I were stationed together in Japan and he was an outstanding analyst and Navy Chief. Our sincere condolences to Yukie and family.

No more a Watch to stand, Old Sailor. For you are drifting on an ebbing tide.

Eight Bells have rung. Dog Watch is done. A new Berth awaits you on the other side.

Your Ship is anchored in God's Harbor. And though his sailors are of equal rank, there'll be Shipmates on the deck to greet you, and Pipe, as you ascend the Plank.

Her boilers are full head of steam. Cargo stowed, and Galley stored. Just waiting to get underway.

When the last Hand comes aboard. Look sharp! That Hand is you, Old Sailor. And you'll be sailing out on Heavenly Seas.

So may the wind be ever at your back. Fairweather. And God speed! The Watch has been Assumed on the Decks of which you leave.

Farwell old friend.

Rick,
Wow! I don't know if you composed this but, that is amazingly touching and fitting. Put a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. Well done old friend.
