Polish women fear pregnancy would cost jobs

Warsaw, May. 24, 2007 - In Poland, many women in the workforce fear that a pregnancy could cost them their jobs, according to a new poll.

A MillwardBrown SMG/KRC survey undertaken at the request of the St. Nicholas Foundation found that 20% of Polish female respondents feared losing their job if they became pregnant. The survey involved 1,000 female respondents.

The average Polish woman bears 1.23 children during her lifetime.

Pregnant polish women are impossable to get rid of, they are more than protected.
More catholic propoganda!

Maybe it depends on the sort of work they do. Private companies might like to get rid of such women.
