My grandfather used to talk about kroishniludiks (Polish
borrowers). When every he couldn't find a tool, the
kroishniludiks got it.
Have you every heard of this type of fairy tale? I have asked the
family to send me any stories they may remember about the kroishniludiks
(please do forgive the spelling!) but I am curious to know if this is
part of Polish culture or just something he made up. Thank you, smj

Re: Kroishniludiks?

Maybe he meant "krasnoludki" the Polish name for gnomes.
