Any wackos out there, celebrating the fact that the Earth goes round the Sun?

Plenty, and some lovely solstice ceremonies. The one I attended (strictly private) was lovely.

A few surviving stone circles too, for those who like dancing "skyclad" in the moonlight.

They also (the women, at least) wear flowery headdresses which they throw in the water. The wearer headdress that floats furthest downstream has good luck, lives longest, finds a husband first, etc.
