living relatives - Poland

dear Poland forum
my father was born in Poland, my grandparents on my mothers side were also born in Poland. i am searching for relatives that would be living today. my name is Helen m Pietrzak my mothers maiden name is nowakowski. my grandmother was born in warsaw in 1894. my dad bronislaw pietrzak was born in 1920 near chancahowa. not sure if that the correct spelling. if someone would help me find any survioring relatives i would appreciate it thank you

Re: living relatives - Poland

Both are relatively common surnames. There seem to be quite a lot of Pietrzak’s in Częstochowa. In the absence of better information I’d start there. As to the distaff side you will need more names.

Re: living relatives - Poland

You could try looking in the Polish white pages available online and phone people up, based on where you think your relatives might be living. There is a link on this forum somewhere.
