Renting a flat (apartment) in Poland

We have a flat in Wroclaw, which is empty right now. It's a basic place in a tower block. Nothing fancy. We're thinking of renting it out. Does anyone have any tips or advice on possible pitfalls of doing this in Poland. One contact told me that some Polish tenants will move in, not pay the rent, and then be virtually impossible to remove.

Re: Renting a flat (apartment) in Poland

Polish law is 100% on the tenants side. Many as you said, will not pay the rent. Indeed it will be very hard to get them out. Try an agency. Non poles are more of a problem they tend to not pay then suddenly dissapear :-(
Obviously there are plenty of good tenants too. As any money making project there is always a risk.

Big deposits work as a deterent!
