Let it snow?

Looks like the storks were right....Is it really cold in Poland at the moment? It's been baking here in the UK today for a change. Weather really is upside down!

"Although it's still astronomical summer thick snow is being reported
from the Polish mountain resort of Zakopane, and the thickness of snow
on the Tatra peaks now reaches between 20 and 50 centimetres. Weather
services warn that the snowfalls may continue for 24 to 48 hours, when
the snow should turn to rain."

Re: Let it snow?

Rainy and cold here. Today's the firsy sunny day for a while, but hasn't much helped the chill I caught while taking the dog out at 6am in the driving rain.

Re: Let it snow?

It's just been on the news that a river in the South (near Żywiec) has broken its banks and killed somebody. Apparently there are floods starting in in a few places, mostly in the South and South-West.
