Indian restaurant Wroclaw

Does anyone know of a decent Indian restaurant in Wroclaw - we're desperate for a curry, its one of the few things we miss about the UK. Thanks for your help

Re: Indian restaurant Wroclaw

Does anyone know of a decent Indian restaurant in Trojmiasto - etc etc etc

Re: Indian restaurant Wroclaw

Try making your own. We do. Tesco Poland sell the excellent Pataks curry pastes and with these anyone can turn out terrific tasting curries in minutes.

Other than that Frankfurt Oder has a nice Indian restaurant.

Re: Indian restaurant Wroclaw

From memory one or two restaurants in Wrocław have Indian dishes on the menu, but, done in a Polish-style (little or no spice!). One is Na Strychu Restaurant in the centre.

Re: Indian restaurant Wroclaw

I don't want to be accused of making sweeping generalizations but Poles don't like spicy food

Also the colored races aren't particularly welcomed here.

Re: Indian restaurant Wroclaw

Hans I guess they aren't used to spicy food. However once you start eating it, curry is delicious and highly addictive (although not very healthy on a regular basis). I never used to eat spicy food at all as a child so it is an acquired taste for me too, but I love a decent curry now and again. The UK probably has the best indian restaurants in Europe. I am proud to say that I have in the past made my own curry marinade completely from scratch using spices, fresh chilli, garlic etc.
