Digging up old graves in Poland

Does anyone know the law on this?

In England it's 75 years apparently. I learnt this today as Tower Hamlets (East London) muslims have got permission to dig out all the Christian graves from the local cemetery.

Re: Digging up old graves in Poland

Depends who owns the grave. If is a church grave then the jurisdiction will be dependent on the local church. Usually the permission of the priest will be required. Graves are leased for 10 to 20 years at a time and family have to pay for the lease to be renewed. Not sure about graveyards belonging to the state.
