Illegal immigrant tries to get into Poland in luggage

Illegal immigrant tries to get into Poland in luggage

A 38-year old Armenian man tried to enter Poland illegally, hidden in the luggage of a 50-year old Ukrainian woman. This is the second case of this kind that the officers of Poland's eastern border customs service have witnessed.

The man was hidden in a large bag of the Ukrainian passenger of a Kiev-Berlin train. When he was found, he presented forged documents - a Spanish residence card with a false name. The immigrant has been detained. It turned out he was trying to get to Germany.

Re: Illegal immigrant tries to get into Poland in luggage

On 20th December, passport control on the Poland /Germany border will disappear. This will mean that if you can get into Poland you can travel throughout most of western Europe without papers ...

There were enormous lines of traffic at the Świecko border crossing a couple of days back.
