Great (reasonably priced) restaurants in Warsaw

End of my training course in our beautiful capital this week, so I'd like to go somewhere nice to eat in the evening.

And of you Varsovians (apart from our eponymous friend) know of any nice restaurants where we enjoy our last supper on Thursday of next week?

Cheers.

Re: Great (reasonably priced) restaurants in Warsaw

most of the ones along Freta aren't bad, like Pod Samsonem or Fret-a-Porter. Outside the Old Town it can be a bit hit and miss though; are you looking for over-the-top Traditional Polish Cuisine like Oberza Pod Czerwonym Wieprzem on Zelazna, or something more contemporary?

A good steak or a bit of (reasonably fresh seafood, please...

Re: Great (reasonably priced) restaurants in Warsaw

The two things Warsaw isn't exactly famous for!

Try Szweik in plac Konstytucji, Adler on ul Mokotowska, Lokanta on ul. Nowogrodzka or La Cantina on Nowy Świat (all fairly reliable and in Szweik's case quite cheap, or my favourite, Przystanek Muranów, just off ul. Andersa near the tram stop of the same name. Excellent and reasonably priced with maybe the best service in Warsaw. Here's their website:

Thanks for that, fella.

Unfortunately, we've been landed with a load of work, so it may well be a pizza, but you never know...
