Re: Martina Navratilova ashamed of the USA

At least over here, Clinton is seen by most in a very positive light compared with Bush.

Re: Martina Navratilova ashamed of the USA

Getting back to the original topic it seems this person has just used the US to feather her own nest, before throwing mud these people should declare what they have done for there country to have make it better, she has done nothing in this regard but rake in the money. People who are welcomed to another country should never show this type of ungratefulness.
With regard to knocking Bush and Clinton, if we were to take a closer look at the other US presidents we may well find that they were pretty good in comparison.

Re: Martina Navratilova ashamed of the USA

If you think life is better than death, then Bush is a worse man than Saddam Hussein.

Excl. the Iran-Iraq war, Bush's actions caused the death of more people.

He should write "I am dumb" on each of the 3 trillion dollar bills his stupidity has cost the US.

I don't give a wotsit for the Clintstones, femme or homme.

Re: Martina Navratilova ashamed of the USA

One can well be confused by Martina and her dichotomy in politics. She certainly never shied away from very concisely and accurately detailing the faults of communism; which is not to say that she was then obliged to consort with the political right in the West. But her tolerating and aligning herself with the elements of the left that were most habitually prone to support the Soviets and others undermined so much of what she was accomplishing by exposing the lies of the “Eastern Block”.
