Re: Storks??

Speaking of cranes. Have you ever tried to get a photo of them. Extremely difficult. Very timid.

Re: Storks??

no - i only had my phone with me and they (x4) were about 20m away on a ploughed field. no chance of them standing out as they were black/grey.
bl88dy big things, though - would intimidate a stork any day

Re: Storks??

20m is pretty close. The cranes I've seen have always been in the far distance. Nice birds.

Re: Storks??

must admit i've grown to dislike their trumpeting calls ... especially the joyously loud version outside my window at 4am in the morning around may/june time.

in a snow-blanketed and therefore paralysed trojmiasto

Re: Storks??

Blue skies and sunshine here

Spring is here.

Re: Storks??

go find us ... read it and weep ...

(the Obwodnica was closed for a while this morning - that's how bad it was)

Re: Storks??

ain't much better in England - and my brother is going to Whitby for the weekend. Brrr-rr. Even Dracula's reported to have been seen getting back in his coffin to keep warm!

(The ship he was being transported in was wrecked just outside Whitby)
