Polish Car Question

What are the most popular models of cars in Poland?

Do you have road tax in Poland?

John

Re: Polish Car Question

No road tax, only fuel.

Traditional favourites Fiat 126 and FSO are starting to disintegrate now. Not sure what you might say is popular now... second hand cars from Germany? ;)

Re: Polish Car Question

Daewoo used to a popular choice for a new car. Now as Sosh says most people buy a used one imported from Germany.

Re: Polish Car Question

The cars on Polish roads aren't nowadays much different to those seen on German roads. Just older usually. Different types of people go for different models of car. You can often tell a lot about the person by the car they drive. The same as anywhere.

Most Poles don't drive new cars they have bought from a main dealer showroom on credit.

Company cars are, however, much more common than they once were.

Re: Polish Car Question

All driving schools in Poland seem to use Fiat Punto.
