The Groping Polish Priest

Nothing newsworthy seems to be happening in Poland. It's been te same for weeks.

However, one that caught my eye today:

Polish Priest Charged with Groping Girl on Plane

A Roman Catholic priest from Poland has been indicted on charges he fondled a 16-year-old girl while aboard a flight to New Jersey.
The Rev. Tomasz Adam Zielinski could face up to two years in federal prison if convicted on the charge of abusive sexual contact.

A message seeking comment from his public defender was not immediately returned after the indictment was handed up Thursday.

Federal prosecutors say the 31-year-old priest surrendered to the FBI on July 11, six days after the incident aboard LOT Polish Airlines Flight 15 bound for Newark.

The FBI says the girl, who was seated next to him, alerted the flight crew after the incident and was given a new seat. The FBI says Zielinski then approached her and asked forgiveness.

He remains free on $10,000 bond, but was ordered to have no contact with minors.
