No joke.

People in south-west England have become resigned to the presence of big cats, but now a snow leopard has been sighted in south-west Poland, near Opole. It was identified by hairs left near its kills.

Any animals near you? All we've ever seen are hares and deer.

I saw the Exmoor beast once. A big black cat in a field in west Somerset/North Devon. We thought it was probably a Panther.

A Reuters video on the 'big cat' news report.
