MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE & INDIAN SCHOOL - BIG BUSINESS

You all may be recalling a recent questionnaire sent by the Management Committee of Indian School requesting parents inputs on various questions that could improve the functioning of the Indian School, Darsait. In fact, the committee members holding various positions in the committee and supposed to be looking after the day-to-day running / affairs of the school are considered to be expertees who possess tremendous knowledge in such activities. However, still they appoint outside agencies for such surveys by paying huge sums thereby using the school funds for nothing but to help some agencies and companies. If this is the case, why do we need such committees. Who has the account of all these. In fact an institution comes under the Embassy should public a detailed account of their revenues and expenditure in a public meeting or at the web site so that we people will know what they did with school money. Moreover, another circular came up from the school requesting parents contribution for the assistance of poor children. While most of the parens would be more than happy to assist in such cases, what do the school do with the huge sums they are possessing in banks ? Are these funds used for favouring committee members interest ? It is now a days a common scene that students waiting on the sides with donation books for various events at the school. Do we really need to go for all these stupid things. Is this school bankrupt ?
