Information about returning back in the field.

I haven't been in the medical assistant field for a couple years. I wanted to know if I have to do the program over or do an extenship or I would I just have to take the exam to get certified. To be able to back in the field. I haven't work in the field snice 1997.

In california all you have to do is re-take the test, which you have to pass (and should study for which could be hard not having done it in awhile) plus it cost money. every state could be different though. I am not sure, I have always kept up with CEU's while I have been in nursing school.
