Question about Registered status?

I finished school in May 1997, went to work right away, and as life would have it I got married, pregnant and moved to a new state within 8 months, I didn't go back to work after my son was born b/c I found out I was going to be paying more in daycare for a 3 y.o. and a newborn, then I would bring home in pay. So I made the choice to be a stay at home mom, two years later, my oldest child was diagnosed w/ developmental delay, I again made the decision to focus my time on helping her, now both kids are 13 and 9, I'm working as a CNA, and don't mind it, but terribly miss working in a doctors office. I have thought about going back to school to take phlebotomy and medical billing/coding classes. I didn't keep up w/ my membership w/ AMT, does that mean I lost my Registered status?
