What you love and what you hate?

What is your favorite procedure to do as an MA and what is your least favorite thing?

My favorite thing to do is draw blood! I totally smile inside when a fellow MA can not get a stick and asks for my help and I get it on my first try.

My least favorite thing to do is ear lavages...I am good at them and they are not challenging or anything...but it totally grosses me out...somthing about the nasty earwax...and the size...I have cleaned some ears out and the earwax actually makes a 'plunk' sound when if falls into the kidney basin...

Re: What you love and what you hate?

One thing I love-
Every month I look forward to a visit from a
mentally disabled young man who comes in for his allergy shots. No matter how crappy my day has been,
he brightens it with his hugs for all of us!

Things I hate-
Insurance pre-certs. The time wasted on the phone
listening to elevator music.
SNOBBY, RUDE patients!
