Who's working a full time job while in school?

Hi y'all: I'm 43 and I start the MA program in the fall. I'm having to work around my day job to go to school. Luckily four of my courses can be done online. The ones that might be tricky to do will be my clinical and administrative competencies. Then there's my externship....I'm hoping by then I can either be financially able to leave my day job OR find an externship for after hours (like a clinic or an ER). I don't hold out much hope for that though....:(

I'm very excited to be starting soon. The program I am doing is one year if you go full time, but it will take me two going part time. That's okay, I'm not in a rush!

Looking forward to knowing you all!

Are You Still In School? Just starting

I had two jobs when I went through medical assisting school. I worked 24 hours at a hotel doing the front desk and breakfast, the other 16 hours cleaning houses.

I don't work full time. Part time, around 28-34 hours a week. I go to school 3 nights a week (until fall semester then it will be 4 days a week). On top of that I have a 3 year old and a 15 month old. Yeah, I'm thinkin there's not enough hours in the day for all this crap, LOL.
