question need help

i messed an injection up on a baby the mom has said she will sue me, not the Dr but me. the Dr knows about this (for 1 im on leave because of it)

what should i do?

Re: question need help

You "messed-up" an injection on an infant?
or
You "missed" an injection on an infant?

What happened to the infant?

If you were put on administrative leave, the MD must have concern about your ability as a medical assistant. If a patient sues, the physician is also sued because an MA works under the MD license.

We can't give out legal advice as MAs. No matter what anyones "opinion" is on this forum, it would all be heresay.

What type of schooling do you have and how long have you been an MA? Just curious.
