Previous posting

Hello all, previously I posted a question about how difficult it was for a 47 year old male to enter this field. So far I am half way through my classes and have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I have been told that Male M.A's are in demand and I will have no problem finding employment upon graduating, is this what you all have found?

Re: Previous posting

I wouldn't say that men have an easier time finding employment than women, but I do know that they are well accepted, at least in my area. Congrats on the good work!

Re: Previous posting

Thanks for the support. I am also hearing that hospitals and Urology practices are the best places for a male MA to find work.

Male CMAs can and do work in many areas of the medical field. My husbands Urologist is a woman.

Re: Previous posting

If you are as smart and articulate as you sound, you should have no problem finding employment!

Good luck!
