Berdan Institute, NJ

I was wondering if anyone had attended this school? I went on an interview, but any info from a student or graduate would be nice.

Re: Berdan Institute, NJ

I have seen this question in several places, with no answers. I did not attend Berdan Institute, so don't have any first hand info for you. I checked out their accreditations and website and they look like a quality school. I wasn't able to find out that cost though, are they expensive? In my experience, it seems like they are probably a private school and are expensive.

Re: Berdan Institute, NJ

I met with them, and they want $14,760 for a 9 month program. The admissions director was very cocky and I didn't care for him. I would have a long drive, and he asked what my husband thought of it..because he wouldn't let his wife drive that far to go to school. I was thinking..what the...? Also, after asking me why I wanted to attend, I asked him why I should choose his school. He told me I didn't have to..there was someone right behind me that wanted to! Even if your school is that good...it just left a bad taste in my mouth. The woman who runs the actual ma program seemed nice, as did the admissions counslor I initially met with. They are the only school in my area with both caahep and abhes accredidation. From what I have read..that amount is expensive. I took the test and did better than most.
The only advantage I can see is a start in February as opposed to waiting until September for a vo-tech program accredited through only one agengy..which is really all you need.
