Need Help-

I have an interview on Tuesday. I had an interview last Friday night and that one did not go so well. I hate the question-So, tell me about yourself. Would like some helpful advice to help make this interview my best one yet.

Your Professional Title/Credentials: MA

Are You Still In School? NO

Are You Working? NO

Re: Need Help-

It depends on at what point in the interview it is asked. Are they using it as an ice breaker or do they really want to know, I'd avoid cluing them in to drama in your life. I would answer by stating what drives you to look for this position, things that aren't on your resume, if it is at the beginning of the interview. Toward the end of the interview, I might divulge hobbies and interests outside of work that show you are a well rounded person.

Example at the beginning of the interview: I enjoy seeing the progress patients make as they get treatment.

Toward the end of the interview, I might mention: I'm vice president of a youth centered nonprofit corporation and I attend my local AAMA Chapter meetings when I can.
