soon to be medical assistant

Anyone heard of Allied health Institute's online medical assistant program in florida?I have done front office work in doctors offices over past 10years.I was trained on the job.I have always wanted to do back office but was never trained. Now I am thinking about this school because it's accredited but not sure if it's a waist of my time anyone graduated from here?

Re: soon to be medical assistant

Ms. front office, I have never heard of that shcool. If you want to do an MA program, I recommend going to an actual school instead of doing it online. You have more experience and you get trained to do front office and back office work in lab classes. I'm not sure how it works with an online MA school, but I know its better to just go to a vocational school or community college and do it that way. I hope this helps.

I think it would be very difficult to get proper back office training from a strictly online course. I recommend going through a community college program. Most are 8 to 9 months long and about 00 as opposed to k plus with other schools.
