the "real world"

I thought this thread could be for those graduating and pursuing careers.

I graduate June 14, next week!! And I may already have a job lined up. An internal med office has an admin/clinical MA position. It is one of the many places I applied to and I hope to get it. I have an interview in a few days.

the lady said it will mainly be patients who were injured on the job. I wonder what skills I will get to use? anyone in an internal med specialty?
I am just estatic that I may have this job, I mean she sounded like she really liked me on the phone. I just hope all goes well in person.

I am a little nervous because I feel like I didn't get nearly as much administrative as clinical but I will put my faith into my school that they have taught me well.

The sad thing is I am the only student with a prospect because of this recession, so many students are not willing to travel where I live (in a big city). My school is in a southern small town and almost everyone in my class is local there. So I feel blessed that this is now my second interview. (the first one offered ridiculously low pay and I declined.)

I take my CMA on June 26th. A little nervous about that. But I feel I will make it through
