I have been trying, but have not been able to respond to your question.

I know someone who worked as a phlebotomist overnight while going to nursing school - you'd just have to make sure you get enough phlebotomy in your MA program to qualify for whatever your state requires to be a phlebotomist. You could also see about getting hired on as a PCT at a hospital and do night or weekend shifts.

This depends on the state. No matter how many BD you do in your MA program you will never be a phelebotomist in my state of California. The rules are very strict here. You have to go though a phlebotomy program and have a vast amount of hours before you can become a phlebotomist. There is no grandfather clause for this either. A lot of phlebotomist lost their jobs a few years back when they refused to go back to school and do the hours.
