Just beginning MA journey

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I'm 41 and looking to switch careers into medical assistant. I just enrolled with Vatterott today and was a little taken back at the price. I hopefully will receive some student loans which will be a help. The length of the course is 60 weeks. I'll be able to take evening classes. I'm very excited about getting started and was wondering if there was ANYONE??? who could give me some guidance or advice. I've looked around a bit at colleges, but was wondering if I should check everything out and compare classes/prices? Thanks so much!

Re: Just beginning MA journey

Since some ma's are having a hard time getting work including myself. some have written about this on this forum. my suggestion is check your local job market in your area.check the want ads, craigslist and other online jobs searches.
ask the school you plan to attend if they have a job referral program of some type.
best of luck
