Doctor's office expenses

With unemployment so high, I would be interested in knowing if medical offices have been cutting staff. Are you overloaded with extra work because of a hiring freeze? As some patients cut back on the number of times they visit their doctor, has volume declined? Has anyone in your office actually been laid off? Please share your experience in the medical office where you work here.
